Bankr adds Google's Gemini 4 Argon to its LLM gateway

Bankr says its agents can now run on Google's newest flagship model through one API key and credits funded from a crypto wallet, without a Google account.

Bankr said on October 13 that Gemini 4 Argon, which it calls Google’s flagship frontier model, is live on its LLM gateway and can power a Bankr agent. In a post on X at 18:38 UTC, Bankr listed a 1M context, one key, and payment in any crypto in the wallet.

Google confirmed the launch the same day in its own announcement, by Koray Kavukcuoglu, a senior vice president at Google DeepMind and Google’s chief AI architect. The post says Argon is globally available to developers and enterprises through the Gemini API, and to Google AI subscribers in Antigravity, the Gemini app and AI Mode in Search, with the Gemini app and AI Mode limited to Pro and Ultra subscribers and Antigravity to Ultra subscribers.

Google describes Argon as built for complex multi-step work in coding, finance, law, cybersecurity and science. The company priced it at an introductory $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, with cached input 95 percent off, through November 30, 2026, then $4 and $20. Google frames the model’s 1M token limit as a unified input-output budget rather than input context alone.

Bankr’s gateway documentation describes the service as one OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible API at llm.bankr.bot serving Claude, Gemini, GPT, Grok and open-weight models. Usage is billed per token from LLM credits topped up from a Bankr wallet with USDC or USDT directly or any other ERC-20 swapped in, including token-launch creator fees. The same page says the gateway fails over automatically. Bankr’s supported-models page lists gemini-4-argon with a 1M window, but it publishes no per-token price for the model there; it points readers to the live models list for prices.

Argon is not a Bankr-only route. OpenRouter already lists Gemini 4 Argon at Google’s introductory $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, served by Google AI Studio and Google Vertex, with a 1,048,576-token window. What Bankr adds is the payment and access path around the same model: one key across providers, credits topped up from a crypto wallet, and token-launch creator fees that can pay for usage, as its gateway page describes.
